This gorgeous yoga mat features a stunning design of a Buddhist Thangka, featuring Chenrezig. Chenrezig is a bodhisattva in Mahayana Buddhism who represents compassion and is revered throughout the Buddhist world. He is known by different names in different lands: as Avalokiteshvara in the ancient Sanskrit language of India, as Kwan-Yin in China, as Kannon in Japan. Chenrezig is the white Buddha form which represents the enlightened mind's loving kindness and compassion.
Our Yoga mats are handmade in our London Studio and feature a natural, non-slip base. The design is printed onto soft fabric, which is sewn onto a hessian lattice and a non-slip base. With a handy carrying strap included, your new printed yoga mat will motivate you to reach deep for those tricky poses!
All our products made in our London studio are certified to the highest standards for environmentally friendly materials, construction, and sourcing. This yoga mat has many certifications, so you know that you are considering the planet while you are working on yourself. These include:
- GREENGUARD certification - Products that have achieved GREENGUARD Certification are scientifically proven to meet some of the world’s most rigorous third-party chemical emissions standards, helping to reduce indoor air pollution and the risk of chemical exposure,
- Printed using OEKO-TEX Eco Passport certified ink. This means they have been independently certified to ensure they have been made in a socially responsible and environmentally friendly manner,
- Where we use cotton and natural fabrics for stitching and the hessian matrix, they are certified organic through BCI Better Cotton,
- For the non-natural fabrics, they have all been certified recycled by “EU ecolabel"
